City of Niagara Falls Curbside Recycling Program

Each of us throws away about 3 ½ pounds of trash every day!  Much of this waste can be reused or recycled.  Why should you recycle?

  • Recycling lowers garbage disposal costs.  Modern Disposal Inc. is under contract to collect and dispose of the City’s refuse and recycling materials.  The more the City Recycles, the more money the City saves.

  • Recycling protects the environment.  The more we recycle, the less we depend on garbage disposal methods that may affect our water and air.

  • The City’s Recycling Ordinance mandates that residents serviced by curbside collection participate in the Curbside Recycling Program.
